This is a honeymoon package that exposes you to Kenya’s best National reserve and the best beach destination in Kenya. In the wild your stay is arranged in a luxury safari camp that is centrally located along the winding banks of the Mara River. Its waters teaming with birdlife, hippo and crocodiles. Some of the tents enjoy uninterrupted views of the river and abundant game viewing from very close proximity.

 

After 3 nights in the wild, you fly to Kenya’s coastal town – Diani which plays host to the best – pristine, powder soft beach. You will spend 3 memorable nights at the stunning white beach fringed by coral reefs and a tidal saltwater lake surrounded by a mangrove forest. Your resort is a Magical fusion of nature and comfort with elegance and romance.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrive Nairobi

Arrival in Nairobi by your scheduled international flight. You will be met by our company representative at the airport then short introductions and later commence the drive to your Hotel in Nairobi. Your accommodation today is based at the Tribe Hotel /similar – next to upmarket – Village Market – Shopping complex.

On arrival at the hotel, there will be a check-in procedure and after you check-in to your rooms, there will be a briefing on your entire safari and you will be given your tickets, hotel vouchers and other important documentation that will be required for your trip.

Day 2Nairobi to / Masai Mara

Early breakfast at the hotel and then you will be picked by your driver guide for the drive to the local domestic airport – Wilson Airport where you catch your morning flight at – 9am to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You are set to arrive at the airstrip in the Maasai Mara by 11am when you will be met by your driver-guide based in the Masai Mara. You will be driven to the Governors Main – Camp / similar with a brief game drive as you head to the camp.

Upon arrival, you are free to freshen up and relax then at 1.30pm enjoy a sumptuous meal of lunch.

After lunch, you have some time to rest and marvel at your camp and the surrounding with option to go for an evening game drive at – 4pm.

Governors Camp is located close to the Mara River in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara is considered by many to be Kenya’s finest game reserve, the 650sq miles of the Masai Mara adjoins Tanzania’s well-known Serengeti, forming one ecosystem. The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is home to numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topi, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra.
You will return back to the hotel in the evening by 6.30pm in good time to freshen up and enjoy dinner followed by overnight.

Day 3Full day in the Masai Mara

Depart your hotel after breakfast with picnic lunch boxes and proceed to spend the full day in Masai Mara with game drives in the morning and afternoon hours.

It sure is a sight to behold to see the animals in their natural habitats and in their elements. It can be a humbling experience, but also an amazing one, to visit with these incredible beasts!

You will enjoy picnic lunch at a designated picnic site within the park.

Dinner followed by overnight at your Camp.

Day 4: Balloon Safari in the Masai Mara

Today you will be awakened by an early morning cup of tea at 5.30am then you are driven to the take-off site where you meet your fully qualified pilot. As dawn breaks watch the rainbow colored balloon slowly fill with air and rise into the air. Balloon safari in the Masai Mara is one of the most magical experiences you can take part in when visiting the Masai Mara.

Enjoy a bird’s eye-view of the wildlife below and afterwards descend to a scenic champagne breakfast cooked on the balloons burners and served on the savannah plains.

When all is ready, you will be helped into the stout wicker basket (a typical balloon carries around 8-16 passengers and is equipped with seats and safety belts), the sandbags will be cast off, and the balloon will rise into the cool of the morning air. Driven by the wind, and guided by jets of hot air from the gas-burners (which allow it to rise or fall according to the pilot’s direction), the balloon will fly for a period of around 45 minutes (trailed by a team of ground vehicles). Then, as the morning sun rises, it will descend to a gentle controlled-landing on the plains.

Celebrate your flight with a glass of chilled champagne the you will receive your ‘flight certificate’ from your balloon pilot, before sitting down to a full English breakfast, cooked on the burners of the balloon. Afterwards enjoy a leisurely game-drive back to the Camp.

Spend rest of the day at leisure in your camp.

All the rest of the meals are served at the – Governors Main Camp / similar.

Day 5Masai Mara to / the Sands at Chale Island

Breakfast at the Camp and then relax at leisure. After lunch today, you will be driven to the airstrip for your scheduled flight direct to the coast of Kenya to Ukunda airstrip. Upon arrival, you will be met by our company representative based at the coast and then after a short briefing, you will be driven to the sea shore where you board a boat to your resort that is located at an Island.

Upon arrival at the Sands at Chale Resort, proceed to check-in and then relax at leisure enjoying the amenities that come with this luxurious resort.

All meals and overnight at The Sands at Chale Islands Resort / similar.

Day 6At leisure at Chale Island

The resort is set at an island and today you have a free day to relax, unwind and spend time exploring the island. You have an opportunity to explore the Mangrove Forest just nearby your resort which form an intricate ecosystem inhabited by birds, fish and crabs.

All meals at the resort where you are on a Full board meal plan.

Day 7Sightseeing – Kisite Marine Park – Swim with the Dolphins

Today you will be picked after breakfast for your trip to the Kisite Marine Park by boat.

Kisite Marine Park is the best and most accessible Marine Park in Kenya. Once out on the Indian Ocean, there are regular sightings of dolphins, often accompanied by their rollicking offspring. Within the Wasini Channel, the rare hump-backed dolphins are also often sighted. Scuba diving and fun-diving guests often meet turtles underwater, too.

Lunch is included and you will return to your hotel in the evening by 4pm.

Dinner and overnight at Your Beach Resort / similar.

Day 8Chale Island to / Nairobi / Departure

After breakfast today, check-out and then you will be driven to the local airstrip in Diani to catch your flight departing by midday back to Nairobi.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by our company representative based here and then you will be driven to the main airport – Jomo Kenyatta International Airport – to catch your scheduled onward international flight. End of Services!!
