Today you will be met by our company representative and after a short briefing on your stay in Johannesburg, you will be driven to your Hotel.
You have the entire afternoon to relax after you have checked in and freshened up. You will be served dinner tonight at a local restaurant in Johannesburg. Overnight at your hotel where accommodation on bed and breakfast basis.
Today is ideal for you to spend time exploring Johannesburg. After breakfast, you are picked at 0830hrs by the driver guide and then commence the tour of this – booming city visiting the area close to city hall and Newton cultural precinct which have completely transformed the market theatre and the surroundings now forming the heart of urban revival. Visit Museum Africa which records the continents past when the first civilizations thrived.
The tour also passes through the banking district, the magistrates court and the supreme court. Also visit – Top Africa at the Carlton centre from where you will have endless views over Johannesburg. We drive through some of the most picturesque suburbs before return to the hotel.
After breakfast today, relax at the hotel at leisure and then in the afternoon by 1pm your driver guide will pick you at the Hotel lobby and proceed for a half day gold reef city tour which is an amu sement park in Johannesburg. Located on an old gold mine. The park is themed around the gold rush that started in 1886 on the Witwatersrand.
There are many attractions at Gold Reef City, including water rides, roller coasters and the famous Gold Reef City Casino. The live shows of Idols South Africa are filmed live in the “Hippodrome”, a large auditorium based in the park.
Later in the evening you will drive back to your Hotel for overnight.
Early in the morning today you will be served with breakfast at the Hotel and afterwards depart from the Hotel for a full day game drives in Rhino & Lion National parks.
The park is set in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve lies roughly 50 kilometers north-west of Johannesburg and offers a chance to see white rhino, lion, buffalo, hippo and other species. Mostly the Rhino and Lion park focus is on their breeding program. No fewer than 18 white rhino calves have been born on the reserve. Other animals bred here include the Cape wild dog, Bengal tigers, Siberian tigers and the white lion.
Later in the evening you will start driving out of the Park back to your Hotel.
Pick up for this tour will be in the afternoon by 1pm. The apartheid museum is famous because it is filled with all the history and diversity of the past including all the apartheid elements that formed South Africa in to what it is today. The museum is a beacon on hope showing the world how South Africa is coming to terms with its oppressive past and working towards a future that all South Africans can call their own. Later return to the hotel to freshen up and then overnight.
Sun city is exciting and a full day tour here will excite you. Pick up is always early by 0800hrs.
